Marc Amos actively pursues immigration benefits for individuals, universities and companies. A native Virginian, Marc obtained his law degree from George Mason University School of Law focusing on regulatory law. His interests in immigration law began while in law school when he worked part-time for an immigration law firm. After law school, he moved back to Goochland County and practiced immigration and general law for six years. He also served as the Goochland County Bar Association President.
Looking to expand his immigration experience, Marc joined North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina for three years managing the University's immigration team in ensuring compliance with permanent and temporary immigrant visas and with the I-9 and E-Verify programs. During his work at NCSU, he was frequently invited to present at regional university professional associations on establishing immigration expertise within human resource departments. After NCSU, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia as the Senior Associate Attorney at Kuck Immigration Partners. While at Kuck Immigration Partners, he expanded his immigration experience working with many types of immigration matters from employment based immigration to removal defense. He served for a year on the USCIS Texas Service Center AILA Liaison Committee.
After years in North Carolina and Georgia, he is glad to be back in Virginia working with Amos & Amos, PLLC to solve immigration compliance issues for our clients.
