Reed Amos received a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations with an emphasis in Middle Eastern affairs from Brigham Young University in 1997 and he received his Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 2000. Following graduation, he began practicing law with the renowned criminal defense law firm of Sherman & Sherman in Santa Monica, California. There he represented clients in complex criminal actions, hearings and trials before judges and juries. Much of his work included cases in the federal courts involving large-scale narcotics trafficking with extensive government wiretapping. In 2007, Reed joined the law firm of Jacobson, Russell, Saltz & Fingerman, LLP in Los Angeles, California as a Senior Associate Trial Attorney. He represented individuals and corporate clients on entertainment law and civil litigation matters largely involving contract disputes, employment issues and intellectual property rights. Since moving back to Virginia, Reed has been practicing law with Amos & Amos, PLLC.
Reed is licensed to practice in Virginia, the District of Columbia and California. He specializes in criminal defense, civil litigation and family law matters.
In addition, Reed currently serves in the U.S. Army Reserve, JAG Corps.
